What’s new with the KMU? John will be offering a couple holiday drop-in classes at PS Bookshop in DUMBO (Mon Dec 12, 19 - email to reserve a spot!). He'll also be offering free trial classes to new families in Cobble Hill at The Moxie Spot, Dec 7 and Dec 14. Check their website for more details. John is also bringing the KMU to Williamsburg - teaching the kids at Mi Escuelita, a Spanish-language pre-school on the Southside : )
 The May/June issue Brilliant Star magazine (the kids' publication of the Baha'i Assembly) is featuring sheet music for John's song One Family, to celebrate Race Unity Day (June, 12) Although some of the chords listed aren't correct, we're proud to be a part of such a positive endeavor! ‘John Carlin & The Kids Music Underground’ TV pilot Join John and the KMU team (Yuki, Desmond, Pablo, and Genie), as John is magically transported to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to help a little girl feel better about her new school. The sights, sounds, rhythms, language, and foods of Brazil are celebrated and explored, as John visits a children’s samba school, attends the children’s Carnival parade, and samples foods from the local market, meeting many different and colorful characters along the way. Also starring Frances Sternhagen as Mrs. Mazzotti.
