A Dinosaur Named Fred If I had a big dark green pet dinosaur I think I might just call him Fred We’d take turns racing up and down the hill He’d let me ride upon his head Some things are better with a dinosaur Like walking to school or climbing trees He lifts me up into the highest branch But sometimes the pollen makes him sneeze And we walk around Just Fred and me We go walkin’ round Feeling wild and free I love to play With my pet dinosaur (named Fred) Fred is a puppy of a dinosaur He likes to roll and chase his tail Whenever we’re aboard our big tall ship He gets his head caught in the sail And we wander round Just Fred and me We go wanderin’ round So wild and free Wherever I go Forever I’ll know he’s with me by my side So happy to be Exploring and seeing distant lands so far and wide If I had a big dark green pet dinosaur I think his name would be Fred Every day we’d go on an adventure But we’d get back home in time for bed I love to play With my pet dinosaur (named Fred) << back
